Scents of Seasons
‘Multiplier of Five’ Poetry Series (#5)

5 days, 5 poetry, in 25 words each
Wind is harsh
mountains serene
sounds frozen
shadows paler
weaning from green,
In serendipity
a thrush’s squeal
enraptured landscape —
a pinecone stumbled,
a symphony streamed.
Footnote: Winter stays almost soundless in Himalayas across India, nestling fascinating fauna, blanketing dozing flora, endowing rivers with abundance. When it adjourns to unknown lands, spring erupts as an afterglow.
