Illumined by Rain(#5)

Petals of raindrops pattering
corolla of night blooms,
Reams of soil absorb heavenly ink
Oozing out damp incenses,
a downpour soluble in past,
bouncing off the roof of cowshed,
rattling through the night,
tones, tints of misty moonlight
milking a rhapsody from
cacophony of fireflies.

From a ravine, a thrush singing flute,
Sky fumigates embers of enigmatic,
decants nectar from drab clouds
above quiet of farthest peak,
picking soot from earth' eyes in veil,
amber, citrine, verdigris algae
furry green tufts of moss,
riotous splash crawl n creep,
stones get adrenalized
when pit-a-pat seep.

Lashing in an instant,
in whispers soon again,
drizzling in timelessness,
now in torrents,
It’s tippling down with rain
lapping against its own leap,
A sudden rip of resonant rain
illumined a tranquil stream,
long lost in greener detour
meandering in woods’ deep.
